4th day, no ship, excuses; asks to ship by the 7th day, to which I agree; 7th day, no ship and more excuses. I paid immediately and truly wanted this Scott 299, had waited quite some time to afford one. I have had a small number of bad Ebay experiences and a vast majority of positive-THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE and being that there was no good reason in the seller's explanation, I must unfortunately say that this seller is truly ABYSMAL. The only option left me was to file for refund.

AudioSilente has done it! Finally a perfect replacement mushroom!
These mushrooms are just as soft or softer than originals, though of course it's hard to find an original that has any softness left to it. I repair record players and I only wish AudioSilente made parts for more record players.

The best turntable parts, better than original
Not often can you improve upon original design. Audio Silente does it time and time again!

Nice that it exists, but not as nice as original
If you are missing your diaphragm this is a great replacement. If you have an original, go with that. I found the stamping to be doll, rounded, and with flaws like fingers had accidentally touch the diaphragm and made dents. The two I bought were flawed in other ways from perfection which you don't expect to find on a fresh stamping (dents, wrinkles)
