Powder River Basin Coal Trains
This DVD combines 2 excellent programmes on on disc. The subject matter is varied and interesting and the wide open rolling grasslands of Wyoming will cure anyone suffering with cabin fever.

Express Steam DVD series
This is an excellent series of DVDs originally filmed in the early 1990's. The quality of the filming was excellent when made and has stood the test of time. Subject matter is interesting and thoroughly covered. The only annoyance with this series is that it's incomplete - 'Express Steam Locomotives of the LMS' is nigh on impossible to find on DVD.

Ultimate Tehachapi
An excellent video with plenty of Southern California mountain scenery and typically long, slow, noisy American trains. 8 hours is a bit much to watch in one go, but watching an hour here and there it's very enjoyable. Almost every inch of the line is covered. If viewed as a 'travelog' as much as a train video, it's a great way for one's brain to escape the daily grind.
