Air's "Moon Safari" CD (1998)
The French electro-pop pioneers really stand out as forerunner to bands like Zero Seven. The feel of the CD is magical and other-worldly. They transport you to, what seems, another realm in time and space due to the euphoric electro mixes and blissed out lyrics. Air really stand out as leaders in the chillout genre of dance and alternative music. The most well known of the tracks is "Sexy Boy", with its breathy simple lyrics. There is some edge to the chillout feel of the album, giving it darker feel. Tracks include "Kelly Watch the Stars", "La Femme D'Argent", and "All I Need". I would reccommend this CD to most as its is, in my mind, its a seminal classic that should hold pride of place in anyones CD collection.
