Engrossing, a must read for anyone interested Russia's rich history
Brilliant story for anyone interested in Russia's past and how it came to be what it is today.
Mixing real historical time-lines and people entwined with a fictional story line of families living out their destiny. This is an engrossing 1000 pages that takes you into the hearts and minds of a passionate yet often cruel existence in the lives of so many Russians from nobleman to peasant.
