The album contains songs about deficits in this world (Better World) and continues about leaving everything behind and to have the courage to go your own way (42nd Avenue). Soulful folk rock ballads and poetic lyrics - something to relax and let go and dream. Songs like "Promised Land", On the Streets of LA" and "Motel No 8" were written in the USA. They are about struggle in life and the power to make it happen. Adventure is just around the corner hope and freedom is there. "Leaving for SA" is about a friend leaving for South Africa and the beauty of the country. Every song has been lived. The album is a personal journey through life with a happy end. Hubertus Rösch combines deep lyrics with social critical topics. An album made with pure guitar sound handmade with elements of blues folk and rock sometimes melancholic and sad at times with power and courage. Enjoy! The Freewheelin Hubertus Rösch was the headline of the media in Germany after a show in 2012 and was titeled the new Bob Dylan after playing over 50 concerts during his "Leaving for South Africa"-Tour that finished at the end of last year. After being in the studio for his album "Better World" he is back on stage at festivals during the summer where he presents complete new songs as well as songs that came from his travels during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The album contains rock songs as well as emotional ballads in a rocky folky style and as he critics say remind listeneners of Cat Steven, Woody Guthrie or the early Bob Dylan. Hubertus Rösch connects lyrical intelligence deep lyrics in his album with social critical topics. An album to lean back and enjoy. Hubertus Rösch lived in his youth in the USA and graduated from Albemarle High School, Charlottsville Virginia. He is been travelling forth and back for many times living in Los Angeles and New York.
