In 2011 thousands of Arab youth took to the streets revealing the genesis of a new generation sparked by the desire for civil liberties and participatory democracy. Arab Youth explores the antecedents of the upheavals and anticipates alternative venues of resistance that marginalized youth--from Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine to Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Iran--can mobilize to realize their emancipatory expectations. Samir Khalaf is a professor of sociology at the American University of Beirut. He has held academic positions at Princeton, Harvard, MIT, and New York University. Roseanne Saad Khalaf is associate professor of English and creative writing at the American University of Beirut.

I today 05/25/24, completed Elektra Director Cut DVD by commentary by creators this movie. The commenters were informative; yet , I had to conclude two scenes one with Elektra she very beautiful woman of once was a child of Treasure (Good Treasure) now Evil Treasure of the Hand that had good breath of Life became she upon becoming evil breath of Death breathed into Elektra death and Elektra would have died she wasn’t healed by Stick and Elektra healed teenage Good Treasure girl
