The book does not shy away from tough issues like violence, stress on one's family and marriage, financial burdens, embarrassments, work demands and doctor issues. As Ms Morgan writes, caregiving involves a lot of laughter and tears. Life changing decisions occur daily that involve estates, relocating the loved one and the struggle to allow your loved one dignity while you are forced to take away the loved one's possessions. Through it all, Ms. Morgan's faith in Christ sustained her and her family. Ms. Morgan lovingly walks the reader towards problems and solutions that she learned on her caregiving journey. These problems and solutions are a road map for those who are currently caregivers and for those who may faced the reality that their caregiver's journey is about to begin.
