The depths to which the author goes to in his 12 subject areas ensures his authoritative 370-plus page book/manual achieves that and more. Damjanovski is renowned as an authority on CCTV and a recent talk he gave at the Rexel Dealer Conference in Adelaide in March had delegates baying for more. In-depth, authoritative, simple to understand, less-reliant on jargon means the reader needs only basic logic and technical understanding to find value in the information contained in CCTV. Damjanovski has attempted to encompass the theory and practice of all components and fundamentals of closed-circuit television involving various disciplines and products from electronics, telecommunications and optics to fibre optics, digital image processing and programming.
