I understood that I was buying used sneakers, and was absolutely ok with the wear and tear. However the smell of the shoes is completely putrid. I can’t even wear them because of how bad they smell. I even covered them in baking soda for a night to no avail. I feel the seller should have warned about the smell in the description, especially considering how much they asked for the shoes.

Dude “completely putrid” you say? these shoes were in my home for 2 years and never once did i smell anything even approaching ‘stale,’ nothing at all! you clearly are a poor ebayer. my description said “Definitely worn, stained and a bit roughed up and still perfectly wearable and comfortable.” and you bought them. if you had asked to return them, we might have worked something out but decided to make this stuff up and pull the nuclear trigger. i have 1300+ 100% A+ reviews, except yours….
