I.V.S.S. MARINE WARRANTY AND TERMS OF BUISNESS

These terms of business apply to work under taken or supplied on or after 1-01-06.

We warranty our work/products for a period of 3 months from completion ( unless specified otherwise ) against all defects that are due to poor workmanship or defective materials supplied by us. We will be liable under this warranty for only defects appearing during and not after the 3 months period, which must be promptly notified to us in writing.

Our warranty is 3 months return to base by the customer and we will NOT be liable for any return costs, loss of profit, consequential or indirect loss, including loss of business, revenue, goodwill and any anticipated savings, howsoever arising, Including fitting / removal costs. Warranty repairs are all return to base by customer.

We will NOT be liable for any loss or damage by events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control such as extreme weather conditions, the action of third parties not employed by us or latent defects, this includes loss or damage to vessels, gear, equipment, or other goods left with us for repair or storage , and harm to persons entering the premises and/or using facilities or equipment , customers should ensure that their own personal property insurance covers such risks.

Customers may them selves be liable for loss or damage caused by them, their crew or their vessels. Any vessels , gear, equipment or other goods are left with us at the customers own risk, the customer should maintain adequate insurance which should also cover third party liability of at least £1000,000.

All boat, engines, and sterndrive equipment taken in for servicing/repairs/reconditioning, are to be collected within 7 days from completion ( unless other wise agreed) . Storage will be charged at £10 per week after this time.

Should parts/labour costs to customer’s equipment/vessel not be settled with in 2 months of completion, we will dispose of vessel/engine/sterndrive equipment to recover our costs ( unless otherwise agreed ) this will be in complaisant with Torts ( Interference with goods) Act 1977

These terms of business are subject to English law and any dispute arising should be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

These terms or business are subject to change at any time.

Our warranty covers the following for a period of 3 months and is return to base only.

* Poor workmanship

What our warranty does not cover :

* Loss or stolen

* Damages caused by under water collision

* Damages caused during fitment by third parties

* Repairs to any faulty items provided by us and worked on or fixed by a third party

* Neglect eg, harsh gear change, heavy useage from cold

Our warranty is void should any third parties work on our products unless third parties have our written permissions

Our warranty starts from the date of invoice.

Our warranty is only valid to the name on the invoice and can not be passed on should our equipment be sold unless we give permissions in writing.

This warranty does not cover loss of income, loss of earnings, loss of pleasure, boat or engine lifts and does not cover transit costs.

This warranty covers only poor workmanship by us at IVSS MARINE.

All suspected poor workmanship should be reported on the day of findings by email, and should it be necessary all faulty items return to IVSS MARINE for inspection, and also a third party inspection by a respectable surveyer.

Should any such reports show we are at fault items will be replaced or fixed at our cost and all third party reports requested by us at IVSS MARINE covered.

Should the reports indicate the faults are of an outside nature not caused by IVSS MARINE then all repairs and reports will be liable by the persons named on the original invoice. All funds paid to IVSS MARINE are NON refundable

By paying this invoice you enter in an agreement and legal binding contract to the terms stated and agree with all statements above and happy to proceed with the transaction with acknowledgment of the statements above..
