Ishii, known for her numerous miniature-knitting books, focuses this time on creating little creatures using pompoms: exceedingly adorable faunae that include mammals, insects, fish, birds, and more. In addition to crafting the pompoms themselves, instructions are provided for how to assemble each of the 35 creatures and how to needle felt, sew, and embroider features such as ears and faces.
