What’s more, you get all these benefits at a very affordable price. Forming part of the popular NetGear FS100 product family of unmanaged desktop switches, the FS105 model comes with five 10/100 ports capable of delivering data at 10 times the speed of Ethernet connections or 100 megabits per second (Mbps). For even faster connections, full-duplex capability enables the switch to operate at up to 200Mbps in dedicated bandwidth. With integrated automatic flow control enabled, data gets transmitted without delays and service interruptions. Providing support for up to five wired devices, easily connect your computers, notebooks, laptops, gaming consoles and storage devices to your LAN. Equipped with auto negotiation functionality, each port automatically determines the various existing modes, such as speed and duplex, in the attached device. The port then configures itself to the highest performance setting of interoperation. This facilitates simple and automatic connection of devices, regardless of mode and manufacturer. Also integrated into this NetGear product is the innovative Auto Uplink technology, which detects and implements the correct cable that is required for the connection. You do not need to worry whether to use a straight-through or cross-over cable to link devices. With these built-in Ethernet standards, the switch does all the work for you.
