Gameplay is made up of Mason's flashbacks to different time periods and locales. Each sequence adds new information as he tries to remember his past. The story mixes historical events with fiction to deliver action-packed gameplay in unique locales. Multiplayer gaming remains a key component of the Call of Duty series. "Black Ops" on the Nintendo Wii gives fans more than a dozen games to play, eight character classes, and six maps on which to battle. Players can earn COD points to unlock weapons and upgrade abilities. Points are earned by completing contracts that ask you to fulfill certain objectives during a mission. Gamers buy contracts using COD points and earn more back upon completion. Three contracts can be taken on at once, which helps add variety to the gameplay.
