  It’s works well for my application being a single cab 1965 d100. This will work good in a regular cab truck or a small car but I wouldn’t waste my time with it in a station wagon or a very large vehicle. Upgrade your electrical system to handle the 70amp load in your old hot rod, I added a 160 amp alternator and will likely add a second battery. It does not come with instructions so KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING before you begin
