  This Genesis Model 2 system turned out to be a VA3 revision with a good video encoder chip, which has a notable improvement in video and audio quality compared to the VA0 Genesis Model 2 I previously used. The system also largely works and looks as advertised, with the system turning on and running games as expected without much fuss. However, I later noticed that the system's reset button is non-functional... That isn't a game-breaking issue most of the time, but still noteworthy regardless.
