The original box had additional bubble wrap inside to protect the items, that box was wrapped with shrink wrap and then paper, and the shipping box had additional cardboard inside to reinforce it. Hands down the safest shipped product I have ever received! Item was pre-owned as described, but did have dried food in it. I wash everything I receive so no big deal there.
