  The one I received was in fact not a one wire alternator. Nor was it a 70 amp (only a 50a..) took it to a local shop that repairs alternators and was quoted a price of $25 for converting it to a one wire. Contacted seller that promptly responded with either a $10 refund or return. I asked for a $25 credit to cover the cost of at least getting partially what I ordered, and was again promptly told that if I would leave a positive review first they would agree to the $25 refund. So here I am!

  The part arrived in a timely manner, was well packaged and a quality item. However, it was not a compatible fit for my 1991 500 SL Mercedes-Benz …in the upper and lower hose positions. Fortunately, the seller issued a full refund and it was return shipped, free of charge.
