  This was a decent coin and I think it graded an AU-58 in my coin apps grading AI, take that like a grain of sand, which I guess is what your to expect so the value was there and it’s as described shipping and packaging were great, no issues

  Yes the US Mint Sets back in the 1970-1990 sets were not of highest quality. This coin came right out of a mint set and never saw circulation. 1987 Half Dollars were only minted for these sets. As they say get the book before the coin. I have all US Guide Books to US Coins from 1963 to 2026 !!!
