It was a gamble opal, but still was hoping that the patch would at least run into the interior of the stone and not be confined to the surface, it's the nature of yowah nuts though. Not the sellers fault, but a bit pricey for the amount of opal recovered. Would probably buy more in the future if the price was better.

A nice affordable alternative for a mineral collection too an otherwise gem pineapple opal that would break the bank. Super fast shipping as well to the U.S.
