Take in the stunning visuals with authentically original manga scenes. Staff from David Production that worked on the JoJo anime series also worked on the art direction for this game. The developers of this JoJo PS3 game also got artists from the original comic series as well as from Soul Eater and Black Butler to clean up the character models. The result is game art that would look truly bizarre to Josuke Higashikata himself. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle lets you and your friends feel like you are participating in brilliant, colorful battles straight from the pages of the manga series. While the developers wanted to make it look like an episode of the unusual anime TV show, they also wanted to keep the action more down-to-earth. All of the controls in this entry in the JoJo mythos can be mapped to a standard PS3 controller. While Bizarre Adventure is compatible with many peripherals, you won't need any of them to beat it. If you prefer to use a joystick to key in special moves, then you'll be able to connect one easily to your PS3. Simply plug in the external part and enjoy all the action. Each individual character in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has their own special combos as well as energy attacks. An on-screen command reference makes it easy to figure out which attacks to use with any of the authentic characters from Hirohiko Araki. This game covers the original manga story from the first chapter to the eighth chapter in the JoJo series. That includes Part 3 and Part 4 of the Phantom Blood plot. You'll never get bored with the incredible 41 characters from which you get to choose. Show off your epic moves with five different battle styles from each chapter of the story while fighting in the arena. Each of these additional styles works with the same command sets from the main part of the game. When you learn all the special attacks assigned to Dio Brando in the main part of the PS3 episode, then you'll also be able to use them in these modes. Utilize the custom medals you win to change taunt poses, taunt phrases, and winning poses in the character customization area. You can play out any combination of characters and moves you'd like, even if they would never actually act that way in the TV anime or the manga. If you ever wanted to watch Dio taunt Joestar with moves Jotaro used in the anime, then this is your chance. Since this is the official North American release of this JoJo title, all of the video has been translated into English. The voice actors are those from the third part of the Jotaro television adventure. Translators checked the English dialogue used in the video scenes against pages of the manga in order to make sure it sounded like something that Joseph Joestar would actually say. If you want to have an online Dio versus Joestar match with someone who has the digital version of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, then there's nothing stopping you.
