The extension supports are about 2 inches too short. The knobs are very close to my 14” laptop & mixer. Is it possible to extend the supports by 2 inches or does something already exist to extend it?

They probably didn't endure any worse conditions in shipping than they will in a road case for live use. Enclosed in the package was a flier for other products by the seller. They caught my interest.
