Terms & Conditions of Sale
Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as they contain important information about your rights and obligations in respect of any of our products purchased through our online shop.
1. Receipts and VAT
TechAzonia® Limited is a fully VAT registered UK business.
Standard VAT scheme – all products we offer under the standard 20% UK VAT are specifically marked as “VAT Included” or have similar wording in the product description or images. We will supply to you a standard VAT receipt, where the VAT part is displayed and claimable by VAT registered businesses.
Margin VAT scheme – this is a type of VAT scheme where in accordance with the UK laws VAT is not separately charged or displayed on your purchase receipt and is not claimable as input VAT in the event you may be VAT registered.
1.1. All UK purchases from TechAzonia® come with an official sales receipt as your legal proof of purchase and ownership.
1.2 Purchases from outside the UK are supplied without VAT in compliance with export laws.
2. Warranty
This policy applies only to Apple and Windows laptop and desktop computers purchased from TechAzonia® Limited.
For the peace of our customers mind, we offer 12 calendar months (365 days) RTB (return to base) warranty on any* hardware part of your Apple or Windows laptop or desktop computer.
2.2 Scope of the warranty provided by TechAzonia® Limited
In the very unlikely event that your computer develops any* hardware malfunction, which had not been described or advised of in the product description, we guarantee to rectify, repair or replace the necessary parts of your computer system.
The warranty service is free of charge to our customers, where delivery, replacement parts and engineering labour costs are covered by us.
Please note that all data on your computer’s drive may need to be erased and formatted in the restoration process. This process would normally take up to 7 working days, however this may take longer as it is subject to parts availability.
Where the issue(s) may be beyond repair, including economical repair, we will aim to provide a like for like (same model, specifications and likewise condition) replacement computer, normally within 7 working days, which time is subject to stock availability. In compliance with the UK laws, in no situation the waiting time with the claim of our own warranty shall exceed 20 working days.
If unable to supply a suitable replacement, we will issue a full refund within 3 working days from the day when a customer’s consent or acceptance was received.
Our warranty is in place jointly with any manufacturer’s remaining warranty there may be for any particular computer unit. If a manufacturer s warranty is still active, its expiration date had been be advised of in the product description. If you may need to make a warranty claim and there is an active manufacturer s warranty, it shall be claimed first and before our own warranty.
Where the manufacturer’s warranty continues beyond our 12 months warranty, the customer will need to directly contact and request service with the manufacturer, where their own Ts & Cs shall apply.
*Hardware exclusions apply below.
a) Batteries are consumable products. Their endurance will also greatly vary and depend on usage and (correct) charring patterns. As such we do not accept warranty claims due to decreased or diminished battery longevity or lifespan; A natural exception is where the battery may have stopped charging, which is covered by your warranty with us.
b) Display bright/dead pixels - during the display manufacturing process, it is not uncommon for one or more subpixels to get into an unchanging (fixed) state causing a bright or dead (dark) pixel. A display with 1 to 7 fixed (bright/hot or dead) subpixel is considered normal, which is perfectly within the industry standards.
2.3 What is not covered by this warranty
a) Third-party software and applications (such as any apps installed outside the standard operating system) clashes or errors are not covered by the warranty. This includes the re-installation of the original or other type of operating system.
b) Accidental damages and incidents caused by the customer’s negligence, such as, but not limited to dropping, liquid damage or other improper use or handling of the computer are not covered by this warranty policy, which is an industry standard practice. Our Return To Base warranty shall not be used to act as an insurance policy.
c) We use bottom screw warranty seals on all computers supplied by us to protect from unauthorised opening, repairs and parts replacement during the warranty period with us. Serial numbers (including of the parts inside) and usage parameters are recorded at our end and will be matched when a customer may make a claim. We reserve the right to decline warranty where the seals were tempered with and improper use, accidental or even intentional damage were caused by the customer or any other third party not authorised by us.
d) Our warranty is not transferrable to other members and/or parties. It has the power of contract between us (TechAzonia® Limited) and our own customers.
e) Any cosmetic imperfections, which had been advised of in the product description and displayed in our actual, high resolution photographs at the time you placed your order. Please note that we ignore superficial marks of less or around 1mm size. Such marks are not only usual on used devices, but they are also very uneasy to photograph under normal conditions. We do not offer photographs taken by a commercial microscope system/apparatus.
2.4 How to make a warranty claim
Simply contact us with your order ID number via our email address (techazonia@gmail.com) or phone number +44 750 740 9999 or via the channel where you ordered your computer from. We will run checks internally and respond within 48h (excluding weekends or bank holidays).
3. Returns & Refunds
Your satisfaction with our services and products is our main priority. All our online sales come with 30 calendar days guarantee and return for replacement or refund eligibility. The covering period starts from the day your order is delivered. Customers need to make their own arrangements and pay for return postage.
You must reach out to us for complete return instructions, including address, which is different from our registered London office address.
3.1 Returns where items were damaged due to customer’s negligence or inappropriate use will not be approved and are not refundable. Serial numbers and usage parameters are stored and will be matched where applicable.
3.2 Processing Time
Refunds are processed within 3 working days, crediting your original purchase
payment method. Items must be returned in the very same technical and cosmetic order and with the same accessories as they were supplied to you. Serial numbers (including on parts and accessories) and usage parameters (such as shutter count, battery cycle, others) will be matched to prevent return abuses, where a different product was returned. If discrepancies or intentional product manipulations are found, refunds will not be approved and charges will apply.
3.3 Items Collected in Person
Items which were collected in person can only be returned for the reason of a fault being developed within 7 calendar days from the original purchase date. Our return to base (RTB) warranty is still applicable.
3.4. Restocking fee
Restocking fee charge of 10% of the total order applies, which lawfully is not refundable to customers. This includes but is not limited to situations where you may have falsely or in error claimed an incorrect reason for your return or else missed reading through the complete product description before ordering.
4. Anti-fraud and “Fishing”
We are very serious and strict about any fraudulent attempts and unreasonable demands, which will be reported to the relevant police authorities and prosecuted with the full strength of the law. Any attempts to mislead, make false claim(s) or statement(s), steal any property or money belonging to TechAzonia® Limited will be dealt by legally seeking the maximum penalty and compensation.
5. Order Cancellations at TechAzonia® Limited Own Discretion
TechAzonia® Limited reserves its law given rights to cancel any order(s) and without any notice in the following but not limited to circumstances:
a) We deem the order delivery address unsafe, unverifiable or else incomplete or partial and we would not risk delivering valuable goods to such addresses. This includes the use of proxy, nicknames or false or incomplete names as the recipient of such orders;
b) We have internal information of an address, person s names or phone number were previously, at any given time in the past, used for malicious, fraudulent, defamatory or else ill intentions towards TechAzonia® Limited and any of its employees, stakeholders and business partners;
c) Any personal and/or entity with a record of any form of abuse, including verbal, sent over messaging apps or any Internet platform. This includes the use of profane, derogatory language or false reviews, threats or extortion;
d) When required information, such as parts or equipment compatibility checks was requested from the buyer prior to their order being dispatched and no response, incomplete or invalid was received by the time the order dispatch was due (Mon-Fri, 2pm cut-off time).
TechAzonia® Limited is the whole owner of the entirety of the stock it offers and has the legal right to accept or decline orders at its own discretion and to protect its interests. No platform policy shall prevail this law-enforcing clause.
