It communicates with the kernel, as does the PCIe card bridge and cabling, and the V100s that are installed identify with the host. The seller is also very quick to reply - I was sent very detailed specs and information on this board that was good enough for my non-Chinese-speaking self to understand with zero issue. ATTN: Be CERTAIN that you have at least 2x8pin EPS and 2x8pin GPU connectors.
