In less than 15 minutes I had the film latch prepared and the stainless latch glued in place. My F100 is now fully operational. The only minor issue was the filing guide was super tight, and needed to be pressed in firmly. Thinking about it, the guide needs to be tight, otherwise the filing won’t be as precise as it needs to be. An elegant and easy to install solution to a broken film door latch.

The longest part of the process was the sanding. The only thing that could improve it would be to include a printout of the instructions, or maybe a QR code to it. I’m glad that I was able to get my F100 back in useable form!
