Not sure if it's genuinely OEM as this Mac is nearly 10 years old and I seriously doubt there are new parts still being made for it. On the OEM battery I was removing the white text was printed onto the battery cells, but on the replacement the text was on a black sticker stuck onto the cells. Either way, the battery is installed, calibrated, and working perfectly: 4+ hrs use time.

It was about the same price as third party batteries. So far (just a month later) everything seems to work fine, the battery lasts long and probably will outlive my 2014 MBP.
