I am assuming it is an aluminum chassis, it is definitely not plastic. It fits in the palm of my hand so it doesn't take up much space. The connectors are also very sturdy, no "play" or "slop" like some cheaper items. Looks good and a decent price for a new item.

I was a bit unsure if I would have to format the target drive, before it could be cloned to. I had a cheap mini USB fan, and put it on top of a brick of heat-sink; so it went from ~75 degrees to ~85 degrees while cloning. At night the USB lights are enough to flash generously off of the ceiling, so I could tell when it was done. Also quick tracked shipping, which is very important to me.
