The main body is of metal construction so should protect the inner workings. The design includes a small plastic loop at one end so it can be attached to a key ring or similar. Worked perfectly when I used it to transfer a large data file from my PC to upgrade the satnav in my car. I also use a similar item in the car to play music files.

It seems that nowadays sellers are inclined to issue "tracking number provided" almost instantly. Then nothing for days and days. Presumably this doesn't relate to dispatch. It just doesn't make sense when the item received is using the Royal Mail 48hr Tracked service. Perhaps a one of delay in this instance but becoming more common with other sellers too.
