Synopsis
No cheesehead could have been happier to see the Green Bay Packers carry the Lombardi Trophy back home after Super Bowl XXXI than Vernon J. Biever. The photographer has been covering the new "America's Team" for more than 55 years, and he collects here his best works. Enriched by recollections, reminiscences, opinions, and stories of the team, this book includes more than 100 photographic images that chronicle a broad range of Packers folklore. 100+ full color and bandw photos., For the first time, more than 150 of the best photos from Vernon Biever's historic archive have been gathered into one keepsake volume. The Glory of Titletown is a celebration of both sports photography and the game of football, a sincere appreciation of a gifted photographer, and an inspiring tribute to a spectacular team.

- e***- (122)- Feedback gegeven door koper.Afgelopen maandGeverifieerde aankoopUnfortunately I received a damaged book, the item and the package both were damaged and it was clearly evident its appearance that it happened during transit. The seller was very understanding and gave me a full refund for the damaged book, though it was no fault of their own. Other than the damage, the book was as described, the quality and condition aside from the damaged spot was like new. The cost of the book was reasonable. I would definitely purchase from the seller again.
- v***v (2106)- Feedback gegeven door koper.Afgelopen 6 maandenGeverifieerde aankoopAlthough this book was not as described, with no picture of it in the listing, the seller communicated well and quickly gave me a full refund while letting me keep it. The minimal packaging left the book a bit vulnerable (typical for ThriftBooks), but it did arrive safely and timely. As usual, it’s hit or miss with this seller, but often times you can get great values, and their customer service is always very good. Many other sellers with millions of transactions don’t even communicate. How to chalk talk, by Harlan Tarbell (#197064259889)
- 5***i (71)- Feedback gegeven door koper.Afgelopen maandGeverifieerde aankoopArrived on time. Packaging was lacking, product damaged in two places during shipping due to inadequate padding within the packaging. I can live with it seeing as I don't want to hunt down and pay for another copy... Item was as described minus the damage to the spine of the book in one place from the thin plastic wrapping not providing any rigidity or padding. This is the first time I have encountered this problem with this Fantastic seller. Excellent value. Thank you
