Initially I connected it using USB adapter, and PC could not read SMART information. Contacted the seller who responded very quickly with recommendation to connect directly to SATA connection, which worked perfectly. The drive shows over 5 years of power on time, which is expected.

Unfortunately, I had to return these two HDDs due to having some bad sectors but goharddrive was quick to respond, issue me a pre-paid label to ship them back and issue me a full refund! Their customer service is second to none and I will most certainly purchase from them again when I need more HDDs! Highly recommend! A+++++ seller!

These drives have a great price considering the secure packaging and warranty support included with them.
