I put the radio up high on my pack to get the antenna up out of the way. Does what i wanted. NO MORE WIRE ROUTING HASSLES. I'm happy with this. For $30?!? Dude, buy one. Super handy and very waterproof. I'd recommend both seller & product, 100%.
