I knew that Athearn used "rubber bands" to transfer motor power to trucks "way back when", but then they switched to drive shafts. I just assumed that unit had the drive shafts! No! It had dried out rubber bands! Shame on me!

Locomotive was wrapped in small bubble wrap and placed in one box then another and if the final box giving the item excellent protection. The item was just as described in the listing. It is a great value at the price I paid. I highly recommend this seller.
