Too bad the recently escaped Wraith King has killed them all. When his sister is attacked by the Wraith KingÔ s crows, she starts transforming into a wraith. Only the now-extinct Chosen One can save his sister. Gordy hatches a plan to trick the Wraith King into believing heÔ s the Chosen One. He only needs a few things to be believable: a magical sword, a trusty dragon, and a wizard mentor. But true magical swords have been replaced by sarcastic, mouthy weapons, dragons are lazy and live in zoos, and wizards havenÔ t been seen for more than a hundred years. With the help of his cousin and a mysterious girl named Luria, Gordy struggles to become the best pretend Chosen One the world has ever seen. If only he could convince the Wraith King and save his sisterÔ and not doom the world in the process.

    Great price for this huge book. Shipping was delayed but not too unreasonable though the book could have been packed a bit better with some bubble wrap as it tore through the very thin mailer envelope. Would recommend seller to cushion heavy books better when using thin mailer envelopes to avoid the tearing and potentially loosing books. Book is as described! Satisfied with my purchase and would buy from again if packaging was more sturdy. Thank you :)

    As described ,nice price, quickly shipped but not in a padded envelope, nor with a cardboard padding inside a regular envelope, so corners of book were free to be bumped in transit. They were not. The book looked good even with a tear at one corner of the envelope. Both the seller and the buyer were lucky.
