The description included “high quality ceramic,” so I neglected to closely inspect all photos. Two of the photos did reveal the larger flaw. Neither flaw was mentioned in the description. I reached out to the seller, who was unwilling to compensate in any way. Lesson: carefully inspect all photos, despite description.
