Terms and Conditions of the sale
 
By continuing to completion of this transaction you are confirming acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of this Sale.
 
 
1) Sending Items:
We will always aim to send items as soon as we can, but reserve the right to take up to 3 working days to dispatch an item. Once dispatched your items should arrive within 2 working days, but all items have a 15 working days time frame before being considered undelivered; in case of delays outside of our control.
You agree we can arrange delivery of your items to you, a neighbour or to a safe location.
 
1.1) Sending Items (Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands/Islands, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wright & Channel Islands):
These regions have an extra postage charge due to the extra cost to deliver your items; this charge is based on the weight of the item.
If your eBay account is set up in one of these locations all listings will show the total postage cost with these charges already included.
 
1.2) Sending Items (Global Shipping Programme):
Items sent via the Global Shipping Programme do not have access to postage offers and discounts.
 
 
2) Delivery Liability:
Items are sent to the address attached to your profile, we do not accept responsibility if your address details are incorrect on your profile or if you change the delivery address or location with the courier at a later date, this also includes telling the courier to deliver to a neighbour or secure location of what we’d only be responsible for the delivery of the item to this location and not for its safety once delivered to said location.
 
It’s the customers (receivers) responsibility to make sure their personal main door (for deliveries) is accessible for the courier.
For example: making sure any driveway gates are not locked, the main door into an apartments building is able to be opened by the courier (adding a passkey etc).
 
If our courier does not have access to your main door they will not be able to make a successful delivery attempt.
 
 
3) Postage / Couriers:
We use Royal Mail, MyHermes, DPD, UPS & UK Mail (DHL Parcels).
Couriers may take extra time to deliver an item from general delays, at busy periods, bank holidays, etc, at this point items may take longer than our aimed 2working days to get to you.
 
3.1) Postage / Couriers: (postage information)
All postage and packaging costs explained within listings are based on Mainland UK addresses.
Example: Free postage is to mainland UK only and an extra charge is added if outside this area, see section 1.1) for more information.
 
 
4) Cancelling/Changing an Order:
All orders can be cancelled within 14days of receiving the goods, but dispatch of the goods cannot be stopped or changed after they are made due to being sorted, packaged and moved through the dispatch phase to the courier as soon as possible. Orders can be cancelled but wouldn't be refunded until the goods are returned back to us, unopened.
All items can be returned within 30-days if you change your mind, please read section 7) for more information.
 
4.1) Cancelling/Changing An Order (Return To Sender):
If the delivery address refuse delivery of the goods or if you do not respond to the "sorry we missed you" card left by your driver, your order will be returned to the sender.
We will take refusal to accept goods as an acknowledgement of wanting to “cancel an order” and we will refund your order minus courier return costs once we receive the goods back (returned) and are notified about the return by the buyer.
 
 
5) Out of Stock Items:
If the item that you have ordered is out of stock then we will contact you and either offer you an alternative product, a refund or if you are happy to wait for the item to come back into stock, unless it’s Food/Seed (see section 5.1).
 
5.1) Out of Stock Items (Food/Seed):
When we are out of stock of a set size but not the product the order may be fulfilled with the same product but in alternative packaging or smaller or larger packs.
If there is a saving due to us doing this, this saving will be passed on to the customer asap.
 
 
6) Items:
You are agreeing to the information within the item specifics and the description of the item within the listing.
All pictures of item are for display purposes only and may vary.
Manufactures may change display packing and therefore the outer packaging may differ from the item received (inner content would be the same as stated in the listing), natural products (example: pigs ears) may differ in colour, shape, and size; also some feed (example: peanuts) may differ depending on the crop year, natural weather and demand.
 
6.1) Items (Food/Seed):
We package alot of the food ourselves; food/seed may turn up in sealed plastic packaging.
The integrity of food items are not covered once removed from packaging, opened and stored by the customer. The integrity of the food is only covered while remaining in the sealed unopened packaging it was delivered in.
We aim to have at least 6 months best before date on all our food products.
 
Some orders may be fulfilled with the same product but in alternative packaging or smaller or larger packs; this happens when we are out of stock of the size ordered but not the product.
If there is a saving due to us doing this, this saving will be passed on to the customer asap.
 
6.2) Items (Food/Seed) (special offer/discount):
If there is a special offer/discount on a listing these orders may be fulfilled with the same product but in alternative packaging then shown on the display picture due to us being able to get a bulk offer on larger sacks and these larger sacks are used to fill the smaller orders. This then enables us to provide special offer/discounted rates over all the amounts within the listing.
 
 
7) Returns Policy:
Once you have received your order you have 30 days to examine the item, if you decide that you would prefer to return the item to us for any reason please:
a). Use the "eBay managed returns process".
b). Your eBay username must be placed within the returned items packaging.
c). Securely package up the item.
(items must be in their original product packaging, including all manuals, accessories, free gifts etc... that came with the delivery)
 
We will then send you a full refund for the goods upon receiving the item, provided it is in its original packaging, this includes the plastic bags still sealed on food items to prove the item has not been tampered with.
 
The customer accepts responsibility for facilitating the printing of any return labels needed and for dropping off any returns to the courier. The buyer is also responsible for the return costs of the item and should keep a proof of posting the item to us; we would recommend doing a tracked service.
 
7.1) Returns Policy (faulty):
If you believe your item is faulty please contact us within 30 days of receiving the item, uploading a picture of the fault will help us to resolve your case.
Once the item is returned the item will be investigated and if a fault is found we will repair or replace the product and have it returned to you as soon as possible.
 
7.2) Returns Policy (return address):
All return address information will be provided by eBay, within the “eBay Managed Returns” process.
Please start an “eBay Managed Returns” to progress with your request.
 
7.3) Returns Policy (refunds):
As soon as we receive the returned item (change of mind return) we will issue a full refund within 48hr to the card with which you made your purchase, or using PayPal where appropriate. This refund is subject to standard bank clearing times and depending on the payment method can take up to 10 working days.
 
 
8) Accepted Payments:
PawMits Ltd accepts PayPal payments; we can also accept Debit/Credit Cards through PayPal.
If you do not have a PayPal Account you can still login as a guest via PayPal.
