I had watched the installation video before purchasing but the added instructions in the package made them even easier to install. Good quality item, package arrived in pristine condition. Excellent value for money - $40 to get my Roomba charging again is small potatoes compared to replacing it. If and when it happens again, ill be sure to purchase some more to keep my robotic helper going

A few weeks ago my cat decided to pee on the roomba dock when it was vacuuming, and when it docked itself the old contact covers completely fried when it started charging. If I hadn't had the covers on, the built in contacts would have fried instead. Must have for any roomba owner imo as a preventative. Definitely would recommend to any roomba owner.

It took a few tries: the six-year-old can do the required assembly and disassembly himself but can't force the contacts into shape. We have cleaned the contacts many times before this, probably wearing them out, but this fix still works well enough. The proof is in the pudding: I forgot to clean out my stick vac and was able to run the fully-charged Roomba in its place. Hooray!
